meet Dallas photographer – john christopher

My pursuit of photography began when I was only 14 years old – while in high school! It seems like only a few days ago I was considering photography as an elective, but today – 16 years later, my love for photography has enabled me to experience some out-of-this-world situations.

From my time at Texas A&M – College Station (Whoop) to my experience freelancing as a photojournalist at the Austin American-Statesman, Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle and other leading publications, photography has allowed me to do what I love every day.

Photography has taught me to be patient, precise, calm under pressure and has heightened my ability to anticipate “the shot” in every situation. My ability to shot with a documentary approach has allowed me to be a part of a scene as it happens, without interrupting the real emotion and the true art of life.
