[FIRST LOOK]: Talk about a hot one ... in more ways than one! Mona and Steven's big day yesterday managed to stay rain-free despite the recent trend, but the heat sure made it's presence known. Ninety-two degrees in May makes me fearful for this Summer's steamy temps. YIKES!
I snapped this one just after their ceremony at Highland Park United Methodist on their way to City Place - Uptown Dallas. More to come in the near future.
Congrats Mona+Steven!

Marie and Robby posed it up Texas style over in Downtown Fort Worth where their wedding and reception will be later in the Fall. We braved the crazy gale-force winds and the stormy weather forecast. Luckily we stayed clear of the rain and photographed their engagement session at The Fort Worth Club, and Sundance Square.
Here are a few of my faves from their session. More to come soon from their wedding in November.

River-side wedding, a busted photobooth pedal, and the pursuit of a perfect wedding....
Chelsea and Sean are true pros at bringing the party - river side style. Their wedding and reception was held in Canyon Lake, TX just South of Austin, TX at the Hideout on the Horse Shoe; a fantastic venue that overlooks the banks of the Guadalupe River. You could even take a dip in the river waters just a few steps away from the main ceremony area. Luckily the wedding was in early April so I didn't feel the need to ditch my gear an jump on in but I sure could have.
Spencer Selvidge was on deck to lend a very helpful hand photographing the guys hanging out and getting ready before the ceremony.
The Photobooth (JP Style) was a HUGE hit. I don't think I've seen any other wedding guests more excited than Chelsea and Sean's crew. I even ended up with a busted photobooth pedal at the end of the night. YIKES! You can imagine the crazy photos it captured.
OK enough talk, Chelsea and Sean congrats!

A few months back Figaro Interactive asked that I help them on a project for some buddy's of theirs in the framing business, I thought it would be fun to do something a little different than what I'm used to. And, I figured it would be a great chance to take a look, first hand, at some great, (and I mean uber-super FANTASTIC) frames. I'm serious about their quality materials. These guys know their stuff.
So Figaro Interactive has finally launched the site. I'm sure it took them quite a few man hours - the site for bridalframes.com is FANTASTIC. These guys are genius web builders. I wish I knew an ounce of what they know. It would really come in handy... Anyway Bridal Frames.com has a great option to build your own frame layout along with mat and frame; and, I can't stress the quality enough. My personal favorite is their "silver leaf w/ light rub" frame. It makes skin tones look a-mazing.
Oh, for those of you that know my apartment, can you imagine over 100 16x20 and larger frames strung out in my office and spilling over to my master bed room. I think I still have the bruises to show for it trying to leap over a mountain of frames. Man was I glad when the day came to let them go. (Kinda...ok not really) Go check it out now!

Ok so a 5-hour engagement session is less than normal. But Mariel and Joey were troopers during their extended session. There were just too many great places they wanted to try out. Including the South Side on Lamar Building. And, they looked great even through to the end modeling like true pros!
Mariel and Joey's wedding is slated for later in the Fall but until then, here is a look at my faves from their e-session.
