Mona and Steven are such a lovely couple who are tying the knot early next month. Only a few more weeks to go! I'm looking forward to their wedding at the beautiful Highland Park United Methodist Church and then their reception over at the amazing City Place an always impressive venue for weddings that has THE best view of the Downtown Dallas skyline. It almost feels like floating above the city.
Mona and Steven's engagement session at the Southlake town Square. They even scored some tasty ice cream at Milwaukee Joe's. Now the pics

So 50+ onlookers during a bridal portrait in the middle of the day at say upper 80 degree heat in a bridal gown is probably not anyone's idea of a good time I would imagine. Chelsea was a COMPLETE trooper though. I certainly would be whining under those conditions.

Hair dressers, love ya, but you gotta get your stuff together! Start times are set for a reason! They are NOT suggestions.
Ok, that was my 2 second rant. now the pics....

This was probably one of my quickest engagement sessions ever. About an hour in and around The West Village. It didn't help that it was uber chilly that day. Erin and Nick were troopers though.
I'm looking forward to their wedding in May at Marie Gabrielle near uptown Dallas. I hear it's amazing. Now the pics...

How cool was it to shoot with ABC's True Beauty winner Julia Anderson a few weeks back! It was even better to hear some of the tricks of the trade from some of the photo shoots involving that gooey stuff they poured all over the final 3 contestants for an amazing shoot. Any how, Julia is from Dallas and a very cool person to work with. I'm excited to see all she accomplishes!
Christelle Widmeyer:
I watched the entire season of True Beauty and loved it! I knew Julia would win :) These pictures turned out awesome.

It was hard to hold on to these for the few weeks that I did. I photographed Alex back in late February for her portfolio. Alex is the current Miss Oak Cliff and she will be competing along side Alex for the Miss Texas Crown in July 09. I'll be cheering for Alex as well as Kat. I hope they do well. Good luck Alex!
